Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026
TIG Projects Ltd ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why we collect it and what your rights are under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
What we collect
- Contact and survey requests: your name, phone number, email address, postcode, the service you are interested in and your message.
- Live chat: the messages you send us and any contact details you choose to share in the chat.
- Technical data: your IP address, browser type and the page you were on when you contacted us, used to protect the website against spam and abuse.
Why we use it
We use your data only to reply to your enquiry, arrange a survey, prepare a quotation and carry out the work you ask us to do. Our lawful bases are taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in running and protecting our business.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a job are deleted after 24 months. If you become a client, we keep the records we need for accounting and warranty purposes for as long as the law requires.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We only share it with service providers that help us run this website and our business (for example, our hosting and email providers), and only as far as necessary.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict its use and to ask for a copy of it. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details on our Contact page. If you are not happy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
